LATVIAN MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHY ANNOUNCES AN APPLICATION COMPETITION FOR EXHIBITIONS IN 2011
Latvian Museum of Photography announces an application competition for exhibitions in 2011. Photographers, artists and curators are welcome to submit the applications till September 6, 2010.
The application should include a statement of the exhibition concept (1,500–3,000 characters), description of the author's experience and creative activities, information on works to be included in the exhibition (number of works, dimensions, date of creation) and photos of all works indicating if this is the final selection.
The museum provides premises for the exhibition, but the preparation works (printing, framing, transporting) is the responsibility of the author. The applications will be graded by a special jury of art critics, photographers and employees of the museum.
